Online Applications are hereby invited in the prescribed format from the permanent resident of Assam qualified in Assam TET conducted by the Elementary Education Department, Assam for filling up of following posts of Assistant Teachers at Lower Primary and Upper Primary School on a contractual basis under the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission as shown in the tables below.

Education Qualification

For Assistant Teacher – Lower Primary Post:
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes –
Or
At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations,2002. –
Or
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) –
Or
At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) -OrGraduation from UGC recognized University with Assam LP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes –
Or
Graduation or Post Graduation* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with LP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University

**The appointee who is appointed on the basis of qualification of Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.) shall mandatorily undergo a Six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education(NCTE) within two years of the appointment.

For Assistant Teacher -Upper Primary (Social Science) Post:
Graduation from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes –

Graduation or Post Graduation* with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with Assam UP- TET and Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University –
Or

How to Apply for Assam Primary Teacher Recruitment 2020?
The eligible candidates shall apply online in the website https://ssa.assam.gov.in from 10:00 AM of
27/09/2020 to midnight of 11/10/2020. No offline application will be received.
The Online Applications and documents submitted by the candidates will be verified using modern technology ensuring the genuineness of the uploaded documents. Back office verification by the competent Board/Council/University/Authority etc. will also be done as well. Moreover, the authority if felt necessary may conduct physical verification of documents at any point in time through Public Notice. In case any candidate found to be absent on the specific date and time, his/her candidature will be canceled without assigning any reason thereof.

ii) PDF Copy of HSSLC Mark-sheet.
iii) PDF Copy of the Graduation Mark-sheet. iv) PDF Copy of Post Graduation Mark-sheet (if any).

viii) PDF Copy of Certificate of NCC (B or C Certificate), Sports (participation in recognized sports at National Level representing Assam) and Fine Arts and Cultural activities (representing the State officially at National Level).
ix) Candidate with disabilities (PwD) will have to upload a PDF copy of the Certificate of disabilities issued by the appropriate authority.
x) PDF Copy of Certificate of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) issued by the appropriate authority.
