Directorate of Education, U.T Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu under Samagra Shiksha, a Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS), invites applications from the eligible candidates to engage Primary and Upper Primary School Teachers purely on Short Term Contract (STC) Basis for Government Schools on a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- (Twenty Two Thousand Only) for Primary and Rs. 23,000/- (Twenty Three Thousand Only) for Upper Primary Schools.

Education Qualification
For Assistant Teacher, Primary School Post: Senior Secondary (class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (Class XII pass) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (By whatever name known)
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.)

For Upper Primary School Teacher Post: B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known)
OR
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with at least 50% marks and one year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with at least 45% marks and one year of Bachelor Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regards.
