Online applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS possessing educational qualifications and age as prescribed below, for recruitment to the Post of Navik (General Duty), Navik (Domestic Branch), and Yantrikin the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

Exam Fee
Candidates (except SC/ST candidates, who are exempted from fee payment) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 300/-(Rupees Three Hundred Only) online by using net banking or Visa/Master/Maestro/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI.
The e-admit card will be issued for the examination only to those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee and who are entitled to a waiver of the examination fee.
Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard ICG Navik GD, DB, Yantrik Post
Minimum Age: 18 Years.
Maximum Age: 22 years.
Candidates should be born between 01 May 2002 to 30 Apr 2006 (both dates inclusive) and applying for the posts of Navik (DB), Navik (GD), and Yantrik.
An upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy) candidates is applicable
only if, posts are reserved for them.

Education Qualification for Coast Guard Yantrik / Navik GD and DB Recruitment 2023
Education Qualification for Navik (Domestic Branch): Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Education Qualification for Navik (General Duty): 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Education Qualification for Yantrik Post: Class 10th passed from an education board recognized by the Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE) and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Medical Standards Test
- Running: 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
- Squat Ups: 20 Times (Uthak Baithak)
- Push-up: 10 Times.
- Height: Minimum height 157 cm.
- Chest: It should be well-proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age ±10 percentage acceptable.
- Hearing: Normal.

How to Apply for Coast Guard Yantrik / Navik GD and Domestic Branch CGEPT Recruitment 2023
Applications will be accepted ‘Online only’ from 08 Sep 23 (1100 hrs) to 22 Sep 23 (1730 hrs). Candidates are to log on to https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/cgept/ and follow the instructions for registering themselves with an E-mail ID/mobile number.
The candidates are to ensure the validity of their E-mail ID and mobile number at least up to 31 Aug 24.
The candidates are to remember their registered E-mail ID and mobile number as the same would be encrypted in the application form. If the candidate forgets his E-mail ID or mobile number, then he will not be able to log in candidate’s dashboard and neither would he be able to download the E-admit card nor see his result and ICG would not be responsible for this. No request for retrieving the registered E-mail ID or mobile number will be entertained.
