Exam Fee
The applicants will have to pay a sum of Rs. 36/- (including GST) to the Branch of PNB against each payment of Rs. 170/- (for all categories of candidates except Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe of West Bengal only), or Rs. 20/- (for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe of West Bengal only).
On payment of Application and/or Processing Fees at the Bank Counter the application will be auto submitted and the applicant will get a system generated SMS confirming successful submission of his/her application form. Applicant must take a printout of his/her Application form by logging into ‘My Account’ page after getting the SMS.
Age Limit
The applicant must not be less than 18 (eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (twenty seven) years old as on 01/01/2021. The Upper-age limit shall be relaxed for the SC/ST applicants of West Bengal only by 05 (five) years and OBC applicants of West Bengal only by 03 (three) years. The upper age limit is also relaxable for NVF and Home Guards Personnel (serving in West Bengal Police only) as per existing Government Rules. However, Age relaxation is NOT available to Civic Volunteers.
আবেদনকারীর বয়স ১৮ (আঠার) বছরের কম হতে হবে না এবং 01/01/2021 তারিখে 27 (সাতাশ) বছরের বেশি বয়সী হওয়া উচিত নয়। উচ্চ বয়সের সীমাটি পশ্চিমবঙ্গের এসসি / এসটি আবেদনকারীদের জন্য কেবল ০৫ (পাঁচ) বছর এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ওবিসি আবেদনকারীদের জন্য কেবল 03 (তিন) বছরের মধ্যে শিথিল করা হবে। বিদ্যমান সরকারী বিধি অনুসারে এনভিএফ এবং হোম গার্ডস কর্মীদের জন্য (কেবলমাত্র পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পুলিশে কর্মরত) উচ্চ বয়সের সীমা শিথিলযোগ্য। তবে নাগরিক স্বেচ্ছাসেবীদের ক্ষেত্রে বয়স শিথিলতা উপলব্ধ নয়।
Education Qualification
The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
আবেদনকারীকে অবশ্যই পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা বোর্ড বা এর সমমানের মধ্যমমিক পরীক্ষায় উত্তীর্ণ হতে হবে।

The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board extends the facilities of both on-line and off-line submission of applications.
পশ্চিমবঙ্গ পুলিশ নিয়োগ বোর্ড অনলাইনে এবং অফ-লাইন আবেদনগুলি জমা দেওয়ার সুবিধা দিয়েছে।
Applicants will be able to submit application under this mode using the website wbpolice.gov.in by filling up their information including scanned photograph and signature. Applicants are advised to follow the procedure properly for applying through on-line mode.
